usha living

In 2018 we founded a small business from Bali called Usha Living. The concept was simple, natural Bali made products with a focus on limited edition, handmade and hand painted bags. It was a great business that had a positive response but the distribution side of the business was difficult from Bali to Australia. We eventually stopped working on Usha Living after about 18 months, but we had fun during making and sourcing the products. We also learnt a lot about setting up and running a small business, gaining valuable experience in everything from designing the branding and website, photographing all the products and visual content, marketing through social media (and influencers!), and of course hand painting the bags.
